Coleshill Hit By Late Blitz
A much changed Coleshill team, with Four regular players missing, owing to injuries, gave a more experienced Blakenall side a hard fight until the last 20 minutes. Coleshill dominated the first half, but failed to accept a host of scoring chances and Blakenall must have wondered at their luck as they enjoyed the interval still on level terms. Blakenall looked more purposeful in the second half and in the 65th minute they broke the deadlock, taking the lead and quickly adding a second goal. In the final flourish Blakenall added two more goals to sink a disappointed Coleshill team.
