Coleshill opened the game on the attack but could not break down Studley's defence. A scramble for the ball in the Coleshill area finished with Baker just managing to save Rowland's shot. Coleshill finally scored when a through pass from Storer found McDonald who took on Brookes and scored. A cross from Lee almost produced a second Coleshill goal but was just cleared.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
McDonald opened the scoring in the first half with Read equalising after the break. McDonald was on target again but the opener for Studley came from a free kick headed on by Read to bring Studley into the scoring. They battled on for the equaliser which came in the 86th minute of the game from Rowlands.
