SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
A goal six minutes from time from Matt Freeman gave Solihull the points against Coleshill. Coleshill went in front through Cash who scored with a low shot past Carmel from 10 yards. Solihull equalised in the 18th minute when Brooks found Martin whose lob went in off the post. Solihull took the lead when Brooks was on hand to head home from close range. Coleshill equalised in the 56th minute when Jones netted from 20 yards. Solihull snatched the points in the dying minutes when Freeman picked up a loose ball to score from the edge of the area.

Coleshill played well but were unlucky as the weather broke at a crucial time in Solihull’s favour for them to score twice in quick succession to take the lead after Rory Cash’s opener for Coleshill, his tenth of the season. Even so when Paul Jones got the equaliser Town should have gone on to win.
