SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill took the lead in the second minute with Chris Birch taking advantage of hesitancy in the Walsall defence to score with an acute angle from six yards. Steve Williams twice went close with close range headers but Walsall equalised in the 22nd minute when ? ? found the finishing strike. Coleshill regained the lead in the 64th minute when Rory Cash scored with a superb 20 yard shot. Walsall wood came back in the 75th minute when Greg Bennett, under pressure, put the ball through his own goal. Coleshill regained their lead in the 81st minute when Williams scored following a cross from Eddie Payne but Walsall equalised for the third time through Gilbert.
